Conference outline

 

Aim
In a sustainable society, rail transport of passenger and goods will need to grow, almost certainly by increasing axle loads and train speeds & frequency. The aim of the EU 6th Framework funded project “Sustainable Bridges - Assessment for Future Traffic Demands and Longer Lives” is to prepare the whole railway bridge related supply chain for this challenge.

Provisional registration closes 30.06.2007

Registration acceptance and final invitation 31.07.2007

 

Proceedings

Conference proceedings will be included in the registration pack for all delegates in both printed and CD ROM formats. The proceeding will include papers presented during the conference as well as the main results of the Integrated Project “Sustainable Bridges – Assessment for Future Traffic Demands and Longer Lives” in the form of selected documents (guidelines, reports, etc.).

 

Location

The conference will take place at the Main Building (A-1) of the Wrocław University of Technology in Wrocław (Poland). The University is located in the centre of the city, close to the major hotels, with the public transportation connections with the airport, railway and bus stations.

 

Language

The official language of the conference will be English.
